Alabama currently employs just under 31,000 truck drivers. That accounts for just over 16 out of every 1,000 workers in the Cotton State.
It should be obvious from Alabama’s predominant industries that a strong trucking and logistics sector is vital to the state’s economy.
It is the state’s truck drivers who transport the lumber and finished wood products to other parts of the country. The same drivers move the steel and iron products as well as the thousands of cars coming off of Alabama’s assembly lines.
We offer new and inexperienced drivers an opportunity to train through our driving school partners in Alabama.
Every driver who completes our training program is automatically eligible for hire by C.R. England as long as our additional hiring requirements are met.
Drivers can enjoy warm tropical weather along the border of Florida or a more temperate climate in the northern regions bordering Alabama and Tennessee.
