• Capacity: C.R. England Intermodal offers more flexibility for shippers. Container capacity is held in a market, eliminating waits and stops, as there is not a need to move a driver as soon as a container is unloaded. 
• Transit: Intermodal offers transit equal to solo or solo plus one day in most lanes. All our loads run on premium Intermodal trains making the transit and reliability higher than standard dry Domestic Intermodal. Trains continue to run through most weather situations. For example, when Interstate 80 is closed in Wyoming for winter weather, the trains continue to run.

• Environmental Impact: Rail transport is more fuel-efficient and produces fewer greenhouse gas emissions compared to trucks. On average Intermodal has about 35% of the carbon footprint of standard OTR shipments.
• Cost Savings: Shipping on railways can be more cost-effective, especially for long distances, savings can be as much as 25-30% depending on the lane and OTR market rates.
