Top Gun

Tuesday, September 23rd, 2008

I came into this school with no experience with trucks, no knowledge about trucks, no skill in driving trucks over the road. I had my CDL permit on 3rd day, practicing backups the 4th day, and training offsite, on city streets, 1st day of 2nd week; learning shifting, turning even mountain driving. The school was fast paced, instructors were demanding (but informative) the weight of failure was heavy, BUT if you pay attention & concentration you will learn a lot, and succeed. Starting at the bottom of the pole of knowledge, yet with dedication, I graduated with the Top Gun patch of my class.

Best Instructors

Monday, September 22nd, 2008

I have had the best instructors that I have had in all the schools that I have been to. The instructors make you felt down to earth and bring home the reality of driving.

Great Instructors

Monday, September 22nd, 2008

I had a great time at the Salt Lake City Premier School for CR England. I met a lot of people and made great new friends. The instructors were the most informative I had. I had a driver instructor who explained everything and made it fun her name was Liz she was great. And then there was Joe… he was great and made you laugh but you retained this info and a lot of it. So thanks to the staff for everything.

Excellent Teachers

Monday, September 22nd, 2008

My experience here at CR England was awesome. The instructors here are excellent teachers. The fact that safety is a big issue, leads me to believe the company’s biggest concern is people, not the money. Looking forward to my stay here at England.

Sink or Swim

Monday, September 15th, 2008
Ever heard of the phrase “sink or swim”? Well that’s how I felt upon attending school here. A lot of information is thrown at you in a small amount of time. And sometimes it felt like I was going to sink. But what this school has is an incredible resource in its instructors. These people are golden. True ‘lifeguards”. They know what they are doing and if you listen and follow their instructions you will be driving life.

Backing

Friday, September 12th, 2008
The fun I was a nice and rewarding experience most of all classmates and instructors had my back when it was needed. Backing I found to be the most fun.

My Time at C. R. England

Friday, September 12th, 2008
I have greatly enjoyed my time at C. R. England Trucking School for numerous reasons. But here are a few; 1. I got to meet people from different parts of the country with different personalities and senses of humor. 2. Then I got to meet some instructors whose abilities are phenomenal I don’t think I’ve been trained for anything in this way, I know I will never forget this experience. 3. I also got to operate some of the best equipment in the country.

Forged Friendships

Friday, September 12th, 2008
I came to this school ready and anxious to learn to drive a truck. In the process of learning how to be a professional driver I forged friendships with people from all over the US.
The training I have received has been the best, the instructors take time to make sure you have a firm understanding of what is being taught and are very patient.
I am very thankful to the England Family for giving me the opportunity to better myself and my family.

One on One Help

Friday, September 12th, 2008

I came to the Salt Lake City training center not knowing what to think of it. The instructors here at this location are friendly and easy going. They go out of their way to help anyone who is having trouble understanding. If you need one on one help they are willing to help. They make sure you are ready for everything you need to get your CDL.

So if anyone has any reservations about being able to get your CDL and start your career as a truck driver this is the place to go.
